The ultimate safe, supported and empowering space to accelerate your knowledge and confidence, working on your own and other REAL cases, alongside a highly skilled, qualified and experienced behaviourist and wellbeing practitioner.

Do you want…

  • to know how to unpick and then join the dots on those complex cases with ease
  • the formula for getting clients, vets and other pros aligned with their dog’s highest wellbeing
  • to feel confident with the basics (and more) of behavioural (and other commonly used) pharmacology
  • to feel incredibly supported with your own case load, both technically and emotionally
  • to add massive value to the clients who work with you by being your most competent self

  • to feel empowered (and excited!) to take on more ‘stretchy’ cases, expand your expertise and really deliver to your clients
  • to make your business more easeful, profitable and organised whilst doing more of the client-facing time you love (and less of the bits you hate!)
  • even to be supported with your own tricky dog?! We all have them and rarely get an opportunity to access objective, expert advice

Are you a trainer or behaviourist? Or a vet, vet physio or other canine professional with a passion for behaviour?

Then this is for you!

“I love seeing the transformative impact that coaching has on the professionals I have the privilege of supporting –

their confidence, their businesses and the clients and dogs whose lives they touch.

I’m Lisa Webb, founder of Canine Thinking, and I am passionate not only about helping my clients and their dogs live their happiest lives together, but about helping and empowering other professionals to do the same. Together we make this incredible industry even stronger – and a place to thrive.

We all do CPD, but there is nothing like having support on the practicalities of your own cases – each of which presents an incredible, unique learning opportunity that no amount of webinars can provide… especially when you choose to peel away the layers!

Even the most challenging cases should (and can) be positive and inspiring for the practitioner as well as the client, helping you go on to do more of what you love with confidence, not self-doubt!

My particular specialist areas (some may say obsessions!) are the incredibly fascinating and critical relationship between health, wellbeing, emotions and behaviour (especially pain, gut health and complex medical conditions), looking at posture and movement to support behaviour assessments (I’m a Dynamic Dog Practitioner), pharmacology and unpicking the stickiest of sticky cases!

Behaviour Club ‘After Hours’

Behaviour club is the geeky, fascinating, supportive dog training space you’ve been waiting for – and you can tune in from your sitting room.

You see, the best learning for us as dog professionals is done together and on real cases. You can do the science, education and seminars and still putting it into practice with an actual dog and actual client feels completely different.

Each session we’ll deep dive into actual cases (yours and mine), really getting under the skin of what’s going on and giving you some brilliant insights, endless ‘ah ha!’ moments, and practical strategies to take back to your clients.

We’ll explore some geeky science stuff where it’s helpful, work on practical skills over video, take you through the ‘how’ I unpick the tricky cases, especially with complex health and wellbeing elements and you’ll get to meet and learn from some of the incredible veterinary and other professionals that I work with on client teams.

New for 2023, we’re opening up a private Facebook space so we can share even more with you between sessions.

I love working collaboratively on cases to build and share knowledge and I know how much I wish I had had access to something like this, especially in those earlier years. Expanding real practical case experience in a safe, supported container is so important – let’s do this together!

Evelyn Anderson, Barkmoral

A positive, force-free, behavioural adjustment and concept trainer with over 30 years experience.

What’s included

2 x 90 minute deep dive case study sessions per month and access to recordings.

Opportunities to submit your own cases for support and discussion.

Private Facebook space for chat between sessions.

£95 per month

One-to-one coaching, tailored to you.

Sometimes you just need a second pair of eyes and ears, a trusted person to support you and help you grow confidently into areas that really stretch you, or an experienced practitioner’s brain to pick! And that’s exactly what I’m here for.

Whether you are completely new to the industry and have a list of things you’d love a hand with, or are a more experienced practitioner or professional in a related field who would love to talk through a case and get some specific advice, this is your session to cover the topics that matter to you in a one to one setting.

Bring a case to look at something that doesn’t quite hang together for you, or think through how to approach health and wellbeing considerations, or we can put together a framework for you to take back to your client

Ask ‘those’ questions you want to know BEFORE you go back to the referring vet so you feel really confident when you do! Find out more about medication or specific questions about pain or gut health and it’s relevance to behaviour, or go through the clinical history you’re struggling to understand.

Be supported with vet or client reports, or discuss how you structure your assessments and client processes. Make what you do work really efficiently for you and an amazing experience for your client

Go through a topic that you want to understand better – whether it’s a bit of science or theory you haven’t quite got your head around or an area that fascinates you that you want to delve into more deeply and know how to use it.

Or even get some help with your own dog – practitioner to practitioner.

A completely safe space to come and unbox absolutely anything you need a hand with.

In-depth Case Review

When we need to deep-dive and work side-by-side with your client and their vet. Including creation of a behaviourally focused health and wellbeing plan.

Suspect there may be pain or other health issues affecting behaviour? Struggling to get to the bottom of what’s going on or feel like you’re missing something? Feel you need behaviour meds but not sure how to proceed? Worried about navigating conversations with your client’s vet?

Together we will unravel the picture and put together a comprehensive plan for your client and report for their vet.

These are exactly the sort of cases I specialise in and love to unpick! But why refer on and hand over YOUR client to someone else when we can work on it together?

You remain the primary contact and source of support to your client, I work with you to help you and your client pull together all the additional information needed for a really thorough case-work up, behaviour analysis and further veterinary investigation – because doing this well makes everything easier for you, your client AND their vet!

Each case is individual and may include a comprehensive Dynamic Dog posture and movement analysis to identify potential sources of pain; collation and reporting of behaviour based observations and evidence that gives the client’s vet exactly what they need to help get to a diagnosis of underlying health issues; support to discuss medication and treatment plans with the vet and client so you feel really confident about the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ and how this fits with behaviour goals; expert input on adjusting your behaviour or training plan if needed and a clear structure for next steps.

I love sharing my knowledge, passion and expertise on these cases with other professionals – the more we all know, the more wonderful dogs and their lovely people we can support.

What’s included

45 minute initial case review

Opportunities to submit client videos, diaries and further case information (agreed at initial review)

60 minute deep dive with you (and your client, as preferred)

Written and/or telephone follow up with your client’s vet (or supporting you to do this as appropriate). Includes Dynamic Dog Assessment where needed.

45 minute follow up review

£595

Consultancy and Mentoring Programme

Mentoring, consulting and side-by-side coaching along every step of your behaviour practitioner journey. A unique programme, supporting YOU with YOUR clients and YOUR development.

You may already be a behaviourist and wanting to advance your knowledge and take on more ‘stretchy’ cases, or a trainer or other professional moving more into the behaviour field, perhaps undertaking behaviour studies and starting to see beneath what may look like training but is often so much more.

You will probably be the person who signs up for all the courses and webinars and workshops, who loves learning, who wants to know MORE and who wants to be gently and supportively stretched and challenged, to deepen your knowledge and skills.

It goes without saying that you will be passionate about wellbeing! You probably already have an idea that there is a critical relationship between health, emotions and behaviour and you’ll be someone who wants to unpick all those layers and find the roots of what is going on rather than just apply a sticky plaster. You’ll be super keen to expand your knowledge, to share your ideas and ask questions, and to step out of your comfort zone (knowing that you are supported all the way).

This programme is the exceptional level of mentoring and coaching I wish I had found earlier in my career, an incredibly safe, trusted, expert container in which to explore your own cases, your knowledge, your business and even your own style and self – they all make you the practitioner you want to be.

Not only do you have dedicated 1:1 time with me, you can use this to sit side-by-side in client sessions (yours or even mine), or to help you take conversations with your referring vets. You will be able to reach me via WhatsApp in between sessions, join some of the private coaching sessions I do with my team and have full access to ‘behaviour club after hours’ too. It brings an incredible sense of ‘team’ in an industry which doesn’t always make that easy!

This programme is the way I support my own brilliant team, and I know a lot of my clients would tell you its actually the way I work with them too, equipping them with the knowledge and approach for a lifetime of happiness with their canine companion and always inspiring them to want to know more!

Working like this enables me to feel passionate every day about what I do and i’d love you to join me on the journey.

Sounds like just what you need? Want to chat and see if the fit feels right?
