Description
We take you beyond puppy books and training classes and show you REAL day-to-day puppy life, tackling the problems everyone faces with humour, honesty, and common sense!
Whether you have a puppy, or are thinking about getting a puppy, this is the group you will want to be in.
Do you want to do the very best for your new family member?
Does all the puppy information out there online confuse you?
Are you worried about messing up with your puppy?
Do you want to be prepared for all the stages of your puppy’s development?
Do you want to prevent problems rather than have to try to sort them later?
Do you know exactly what you need to do to help keep your puppy happy and healthy?
Life with a puppy is super exciting, and when it is going well, there is nothing better! However, it can be all too easy to end up with problems when distracted by all the cuteness (or when you’re just too tired to think straight any more!). We know all the ways to help set you and your puppy up for success so they develop into the wonderful, happy, healthy adult dog you are looking forward to sharing your life with.
Welcome to the Circle of Tiny Paws.
Join Lisa with her brand new puppy, Rupert, from his arrival into rescue with the rest of his litter at 5 weeks old, and then coming home a couple of weeks later.
The Circle of Tiny Paws will follow his journey, up-close, and you will get to see the real-life highs and lows, frustrations, joys and comedy moments that come with a puppy’s first few months.
All with expert guidance from Lisa and the Canine Thinking team’s resident puppy specialist, Kaye (after all, everyone needs a helping hand, buddy and bit of extra advice when raising a puppy, even professionals!)
You will see his journey to his new home; how his first 24 hours, week, and month unfold; the trials and tribulations of toilet training and socialisation, and learning his dog manners around big sister Bug. You will also see how to prepare for walks and being on the lead; get out and about in ‘Bug’s buggy’ (sorry Bug!); teach useful skills like ‘off’, ‘wait’, ‘drop’ and develop an amazing recall; use stairs; go in the car; manage chewing, biting and little shark-teeth; understand more about diet, vaccines and health; go to the vets, clip nails and tackle post-walk baths; meet people and other dogs; and even start introductions to swimming and physio to manage puppy growing.
In short, anything and everything related to raising a puppy, in real-time and adapting to whatever normal life throws up, just like everyone has to do.
This group is a fully interactive community where you can share your puppy’s journey, ask questions, and show off your puppy’s skills. It’s a safe space to share your worries and frustrations—let’s face it, puppies, no matter how cute, will definitely try your patience every now and again – and to get the expert advice you need to help you move forward confidently.
Come and join us for an incredible puppy experience.
