Feel Well Behave Well dog behaviour support membership
Nurturing health and happiness to transform unwanted behaviours
Helping you and your dog enjoy life together – with a whole lot more confidence.
If you love your dog and want to develop the knowledge and skills to be the very best advocate for them at every stage of their life, this is for you.
Because when you understand how health, stress, emotions, needs and daily life shape behaviour, everything gets easier. You stop wondering and second-guessing. You start seeing what your dog is really telling you – and you learn how to support them in ways that help them flourish.
The Feel Well Behave Well membership is your space to learn, build insight, and feel supported as you put it into practice – so your dog can feel better, cope better, and behave better. And you get to have fun doing it too.
Why understanding wellbeing changes everything
Do you know…
-
- that a dog who pulls on lead, jumps up, chases balls or stalls on walks is likely to have hidden pain – even when a vet exam looks “normal”?
- that a dog who is ‘reactive’ to other dogs or people, who ‘guards’ or who is destructive may actually have hidden gut health and digestion issues?
- that adjusting diet to improve microbiome can improve lots of behaviours, with influences on things like anxiety and arousal?
- that food and environment allergies/sensitivities and low-level discomfort can affect sleep, mood and behaviour? Or could even be the reason behind your dog’s excessive barking?
- that chronic stress quietly erodes not only coping ability, learning and emotional regulation, but can actually lead to ill health?
- that if you get the foundations to wellbeing right, behaviour naturally improves with much less need for training?
These are things many guardians are never taught to look for – but when you start to see these connections, everything makes more sense.
And no – this doesn’t mean something is “wrong” with your dog. It means there may be aspects of their health, wellbeing or daily life that could be better supported or adjusted.
Inside Feel Well Behave Well, you learn how your dog’s behaviour (what you see them do, every day) is shaped by what’s happening inside their body and brain, as well as environment, activities and relationships.
You begin to recognise early signs that something isn’t quite right – and, just as importantly, what to do about it.
You understand why certain situations are hard for your dog. And instead of pushing through or guessing, you can make informed, practical changes that genuinely support their wellbeing and your enjoyment of life together.
What makes Feel Well Behave Well different
Addressing the root causes of behaviour, not just what you see on the surface
Most memberships focus only on changing the behaviour you can see – reducing unwanted responses, improving compliance, or managing situations more effectively.
But many behaviour challenges don’t simply disappear with more training. And when underlying health or wellbeing factors are missed, those behaviours may be masked temporarily rather than resolved – or worse, things deteriorate.
- You may spend months trying to train away a problem that needs a different approach
- Changes can look better on the surface without your dog feeling better underneath
- Progress may stall or unravel.
Feel Well Behave Well takes a different approach.
Once you understand what’s really going on for your dog, you can make simple, practical changes that genuinely improve wellbeing – and behaviour often follows naturally. That’s why our focus is on understanding why behaviour is happening in the first place, so change becomes easier, more sustainable, and far more enjoyable for both you and your dog.
At its heart, this membership is about health, happiness and enjoying life together. We don’t ask you to train harder or manage behaviour in isolation. Instead, we help you understand and support the foundations dogs need to thrive in our human-led environments: health, comfort, safety, emotional state, environment, relationships, needs – and a small number of genuinely useful core skills.
You’re learning the same wellbeing-led framework that underpins our one-to-one work, but at a slower pace, which some guardians prefer. Rather than intensive, highly tailored guidance, you’re given the knowledge, structure and thinking tools to apply the framework thoughtfully to your own dog, in your own context.
For many members, this is the point where things finally click. Behaviour stops feeling frustrating. Wellbeing is less of a worry. Decisions feel clearer. Supporting your dog becomes calmer, more confident and genuinely rewarding.
This way of thinking underpins everything inside the Feel Well Behave Well membership.
If this way of thinking resonates with you, you’ll feel at home inside Feel Well Behave Well
What you get inside the membership
Everything inside Feel Well Behave Well is designed to help you become a more confident, informed advocate for your dog – without overwhelm.
Monthly wellbeing-led themes
Each month explores a topic that genuinely affects how dogs feel and behave – such as pain, anxiety, gut health and the microbiome, reactivity, allergies, separation, making caregiving easy. You’ll learn what to look for and why it matters.
Insight you can apply immediately with a choice of practical exercises
You’ll be guided to observe more clearly, interpret what you’re seeing, and make small, practical changes that support your dog in everyday life.
Expert guidance and perspective with a monthly Q&A session
You’ll benefit from the Canine Thinking team’s expertise to help you sense-check decisions, avoid common pitfalls and focus on what will really help.
A supportive, private learning community
A calm, welcoming space with other guardians who care deeply about their dogs and are learning to think differently about behaviour and wellbeing. You’re not expected to have all the answers – it’s a place for shared insight, reassurance and enjoying the learning process together.

The benefits grow over time
Understanding how health, comfort, enrichment and emotional wellbeing shape behaviour helps you make smarter, more confident choices for your dog – and it’s often likely to save some money too.
Most of us have been there. Reacting when something becomes a problem. Trying different diets, supplements, tools or approaches as issues crop up – often without clear guidance on what actually matters for this dog.
Inside the membership, we help you step back from that cycle.
You learn how to:
-
reduce guesswork and unnecessary spending on the wrong things
-
spot early signs that something may be affecting your dog’s comfort or wellbeing (helping you seek proactive veterinary advice before it becomes an even bigger issue)
-
prioritise care, enrichment and daily routines more effectively
-
make informed decisions that support your dog’s quality of life over time
We can’t promise specific outcomes or savings – every dog is different. But many guardians tell us that having clarity about what to focus on, and why, makes a meaningful difference – practically, emotionally, and financially.

FAQs
Do I get personalised advice inside the membership
The membership is a space for learning, shared understanding and general guidance. You’re welcome to ask questions, share observations and discuss progress, and we’re happy to provide clarification and high-level input.
However, detailed, individualised advice requires context and recency. There will be times we suggest moving into one-to-one support so we can give you – and your dog – the right level of care and guidance.
What if I later need one-to-one support?
Many people move into one‑to‑one work after building understanding through the membership. You can do that at any point.
Can I cancel if it's not right for me?
Yes. Both Feel Well Behave Well Membership and Membership PLUS can be cancelled at any time.
Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period, and no further payments will be taken.
If you decide within your first month that you’ve gained no value, you can request a refund under our first month promise. We’ll ask you to complete a short reflection so we can learn – and you’ll still keep access to the included foundation resources.
If you’re on a one-to-one client support pathway, different cancellation terms apply depending on the level of personalised support in place. Full details are outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
Not sure yet?
If you’d like to get a feel for how the Feel Well Behave Well Hub works before committing, you’re welcome to take a look around our free access space.
This gives you a limited view of the Hub and access to our free House of Harmony course. It doesn’t include the monthly themes, full teaching content, ongoing guidance, or other benefits.
It’s simply a way to explore the space and decide whether the membership is right for you.
Most people choose to start with the full membership – but this option is here if you’d prefer to look around first.
