Preparing to bring a new puppy into your life should ideally start well BEFORE pup arrives, firstly making sure a puppy is actually right for you (and vice-versa!) and then that all important decision…. which breed! And it’s about so much more than appearance. If you’ve done our free 3 steps to harmony course, you’ll know that each puppy brings its own unique blueprint… and breed is an important part of those genes!
Your new puppy will hopefully be part of your life for some 15 years, making the right decision is crucial.
Then you need to find the right breeder (or rescue) – that alone can be a minefield! Do you know how to recognise a really good breeder, who has put health, wellbeing and wonderful temperament first when creating and raising their litter? Do you know what questions to ask?
