Executive Assistant
Role Profile
A super-efficient and proactive Executive Assistant with outstanding workload planning and management skills, an eye for detail and the ‘little things’, and exceptional communication, who will thrive in a busy, varied, high-responsibility role as the seamless right hand (well, paw!) to a busy, hands-on CEO in a rapidly growing business, and at the heart of a friendly, close-knit, expert team who go above and beyond for the clients and dogs that we care for.
Key responsibilities
Management of a complex, fast-changing diary, inbox, whatsapp and work plan for the CEO (aka business founder, lead behaviourist, trainer and wellbeing specialist! – better known as the Chief of Paws and People or COPP for short!)
Proactive co-ordination of daily operations and projects across the team and with external contractors (e.g. IT/web hosting), negotiating and problem solving challenges as they arise and keeping the CEO fully up to date.
General administrative tasks including email correspondence with clients and external professionals, preparation of reports and presentations.
Proof reading and editing (e.g. client learning materials, social media and blog posts)
First point of contact for new client enquiries and arranging triage and support phone calls with the team.
Support CEO with strategy and business planning activities
Support team with meticulous organisation of client folders (including confidential and sensitive information) as well as research and visual libraries.
Creation, documentation and implementation of processes to help the team minimise admin, work efficiently and ensure nothing is missed.

Person requirements
Highly organised, super-efficient and laser focused – you must thrive in a busy and varied role, have fantastic organisational and administrative skills, be excellent at keeping up to date across multiple activities and ensure things are completed on time.
Excellent attention to detail – in all that you do, you are thorough and accurate and have an eye for beautiful presentation.
Able to coordinate task planning for the team as well as yourself – working well with others, who may also work remotely, to ensure tasks are completed on time
Excellent communication skills – confident in navigating conversations with team, COPP, external professionals and clients, both written and verbal (email, calls and in person) and with a warm, engaging, supportive and kind approach, no matter the circumstances from which clients may reach out to us.
Self-motivated, pro-active and with a super positive solutions-oriented approach! –you take responsibility for seeking out the next things that need doing, are always looking for ways to improve things and have the confidence to identify and recommend changes.
Able to coordinate tasks with the team and with external agencies – working well with others, who may also work remotely and at different hours, to ensure tasks are completed on time
Tech Savvy – excellent email management, word processing, excel and general IT skills and confident with project and task management software (Asana). Able to confidently navigate other new software or able to follow training to be able to pick up tech processes easily (basic website management, email marketing, online programs, scheduling tools, Canva etc.)
Able to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely
Excellent understanding of confidentiality and meeting essential GDPR requirements.
Able to work independently and flexibly with excellent problem-solving skills.
Competent and confident in your skills and your abilities, with a willingness to continue learning, further your personal development and keen to grow the role with the business.
Passionate about people and wellbeing – no specific knowledge of dogs is needed, but it goes without saying that an interest in and love for them is highly desirable in this role!
Skills and Experience
Excellent references from previous roles
Competent and confident user of Google tools (Business suite admin, gmail, calendars, drive), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel – including basic formulas and formatting, Outlook), Zoom, Asana, Canva, Social Media
Would be advantageous to have experience with any or all of the following:
Email marketing system (Flodesk), using wordpress website, video editing software (Filmora), Adobe Suite, CRM system (and system implementation)
Knowledge of or qualification in canine behaviour, training and wellbeing is not required for this role but always welcomed and could open further opportunities!

Hours
Flexible
Starting at 10 hours per week, with potential to do 15, at least two hours per day from Monday to Friday.
Potential to increase based on performance, skills and business expansion.
Pay
£15-20 per hour
Depending on skills and experience
Ideally contract to permanent basis

Local to Nantwich would be great, but full remote working available for the right candidate
