This course is for you if:

  • You know your dog already struggles with fireworks
  • You feel like you have tried everything and nothing has worked
  • You have a new puppy or rescue and don’t know how well they are going to cope
  • You want to prevent problems or stop them getting any worse
  • Your dog’s comfort and happiness is really important to you
  • Your dog has (or might have) any sort of discomfort or pain (arthritis, dental, ear issues, skin problems etc)
  • Your dog is prone to tummy or gut health upset, especially at times of stress.

There are few things worse than watching your dog in a terrible state of fear and distress. But whilst you may have little control over fireworks going off, you CAN minimise the stress for your dog – and in turn for you too. You just need to know the right steps.

There really is no need for dogs to be in a state of distress when there are tools and techniques to help them cope. We’re here to support you, week-by-week, so this fireworks season can be low-stress for both you and your dog.

What you get

  • Learn how to assess your dog’s level of firework (and other sound) fears and distress.
  • A simple 4 step plan based on the assessment outcome which is then customised to your individual dog.
  • If medication or supplements will help, we explain the critical information that you need to take to your vet to get the most suitable option.
  • Includes a downloadable vet consultation checklist (your vet can only know what you tell them, and you usually only have 10-15 minutes to explain everything AND have your dog checked over!).
  • Explanation of the most important (and useful) medication and supplements for sound fears so you understand what they do and how to use them safely and effectively (in conjunction with your vet).
  • A medication/supplement test plan that you can use with your vet so you get the plan right before the main event and significantly improve effectiveness as well as reducing the risk of  unwanted (and unnecessary!) side effects. It’s not about sedation!
  • Learn how to keep your dog really safe
  • how to choose the RIGHT activities and support measures for your dog
